An avid animal lover Morgan recognised the opportunity to democratize the pet care industry following a trip to the vet with his dog Milky. He recognised the need for convenient, stress-free and transparent services within the veterinary industry. He wanted to make a change that would benefit pet owners and veterinarians alike. That change was Vets on Call. Morgan completed his studies at The University of Melbourne graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Commerce. He started his career working with the property conglomerate Lend Lease in various project management and property development roles across both Victoria and NSW on projects ranging from $16m-550m. He launched Vets on Call in 2017 with tech partners Nathan Sinnott and Rael Kuperholz.
James obtained his Bachelor of Veterinary Science from The University of Melbourne graduating in 2005. He began his career at the RSPCA small animal clinic in Burwood where he developed a keen interest in surgery honing his skills in orthopaedics. After 3 years he moved out into private practice working in clinics all over Melbourne for several years. He then moved to the UK in 2012 where he qualified to work as a Veterinarian. He worked all over London before taking a permanent role at an established tier 3 veterinary clinic in London. During this time he developed a keen interest in ultrasonography and complimented it by obtaining a post graduate certificate in internal medicine. After 4 years in London he returned to Australia and worked at private clinics in Melbourne before accepting a permanent role as head surgeon at Balwyn Central Veterinary Hospital. James has recently obtained a post graduate certificate in small animal surgery through Sydney University. James is an active volunteer through Vets for Compassion, a charity that helps injured wildlife and works throughout Asia promoting desexing and vaccinating. James brings a wealth of experience in veterinary operations and commercial knowledge of the veterinary industry to our team. As head vet for Vets on Call he overseas veterinary recruitment and training, pharmaceuticals and veterinary specific promotions.
With a background in technology and consulting, Nathan is an experienced tech entrepreneur. He’s had a number of successful tech company ventures, and in 2008 founded Newpath Web, a full service digital agency that he’s grown from the ground up to operate in 3 countries employing over 300 staff. He founded Vets on Call in 2017 along with Morgan Coleman and Rael Kuperholz after recognising the opportunity to disrupt the Veterinarian and pet care market with an innovative tech solution.
Ben's expertise is in designing digital products and tools for commercial and government enterprises. By merging design strategy with nearly 20 years of commercial experience, Ben has helped tens of businesses successfully develop their digital capability. He became a partner and digital product director at Vets on Call in 2018 and worked with our development team to design V2.0 of the app. He is General Manager (Director) of Innovation, Design and Marketing at Newpath. Ben is certified in Nintex, Keap, Blockchain design (Academy Xi), and has won awards for software design and solution architecture.
Rael is an electrical engineer & spent eight years contracting in the building automation and security industry before emigrating to Australia in 1981. He then joined a leading building services consulting engineering firm – NDY. There he established Australia’s first building technology specialist consulting Group. Rael built this Group into a nationally recognised and well-respected services team, participating in many high-profile projects such as Parliament House (ACT), National Tennis Centre, Melbourne Central, Sanctuary Cove, 530 Collins Street, Bourke Place, Hayman Island, Bond University etc.
In 1989 Rael started an IT systems integration company – Integration Design (“ID”) Pty. Ltd. and eventually sold the business in 1999, after successfully establishing a blue-chip customer base including 3 of Australia’s Top 10 largest Companies.
In 1995 Rael formed a new business, Planet Internet. This became a national Internet Service Provider focusing mainly on corporate business and a majority share of Planet Internet business was sold in 1998.
In 1999, Rael helped create a new IT&T Company - Planetel, headquartered in Sydney. His duties initially involved creation of the Information memorandum and the raising of substantial capital, followed by working on the integration of three businesses into the one, new entity. In June 2000 Rael left Planetel to pursue further businesses including Collins Street Business Centre, NewpathWeb and in 2017 joined Vets on Call.
